The Norwegian Encore is a great ship for adults and families. The Norwegian Escape will be leaving New York and returning to Miami in November 2019 for the winter season. In the summer of 2020 she will make her way to Europe for the summer season. In the fall of 2020, the Norwegian Escape will port for the first time at Port Canaveral for the winter 2020-2021 season.
The amount of entertainment on the Norwegian Escape is amazing from water slides, drop slides, mini golf, ropes course and more. Our kids had so much fun and they were always entertained. I can tell you on this ship you will never hear "I'm bored". In fact, they had way to much to do and they were always gone to the fun.
This ship didn't disappoint with the first Norwegian Brewhouse. The brewhouse has a large selection of craft beer and foreign beers on draft and in the bottle. We had a great time in the contest of who can drink the most unique beers. Jeff M. in our group came in third, I came in fifth, and we can't imagine how many 1st place had to drink.
For those who love the spa, this ship doesn't disappoint. The thermal suite pass was a great amenity to add to our cruise. The pass includes heated ceramic lounge chairs, a Thalasso Therapy Pool, hot tubs, steam room, sauna, and tropical rain showers. You also have access to herbal steam and sauna grottos and a therapeutic heated-water pool. This private lounge chair area in the spa was quiet and had a great view.
The Norwegian Escape passes both the kid and adult test. We had a great group of 40+ people a mix of seniors, adults, teens and young kids. Everyone had a great time full of great entertainment and plenty to do for all ages.
