We are super excited over here that Meyer Werft announced the floating on the Encore this coming Saturday, August 17th. The Norwegian Encore will leave the dry dock and remain at the pier for the outfitting of the funnel. The Norwegian Encore will remain at the pier for the final work and onboard trials. Once the onboard trials are complete, the Encore will make it's way up the river Ems to the North Sea. The Norwegian Encore is expected to make this move at the end of September. We are waiting news for the dates of the sea trials.
The Norwegian Encore will have a short inaugural out of Southhampton on October 31st. The Norwegian Encore will start her transatlantic in early November. She will arrive in Miami on November 17th. The Norwegian Encore christening will be November 21, 2109 at 4:30 pm in Miami.
We are excited and will update more details as they become available. We are on the Inaugural sailing November 21-24, 2019 and will live blog the event.
